Don’t you mean wolverine is LFL, FFG, or whoever is responsible for withholding a proper official ruling, and cyclops is the “the game works as the printed materials tell me it should” judges?

Those guys are getting a lot of shade thrown their way for doing what they have perfect reason to believe they should be.

You think it sucks to have to fly against Nym Miranda? Imagine being the one that is forced to choose between enabling that sucky scenario for dozens of players or sticking to a ethical code you hold yourself to.

To reiterate that. Ffg found a great work around on the awful lfl approval process and gave them a ruling and "The Tos" said no

These tos are a self appointed title. I run leauges and tournaments, why is my ruling less valid.

Yea its probably a bad idea but its likely worth the risk.

Agree, the primary reason to watch X-Wing Streams in general is just to see how insane the chat comments can get.

I assumed you were talking about twitch chat not the broadcasters.

Just wanted to give the commentary dudes a shout out there at least on par with Tony Romo in general.

I know I haven’t run the list that much, but the win condition is kill the ace and half points on RAC, right? Or I guess you could go for kill RAC and avoid the ace.

None of the RAClo crits matter to the silencer, it is moving first and you aren’t super relying on its damage. You should be able to play conservatively enough to not take four.

It should come down to trading the gunboats for the ace, or nearly all of RAC and you should be good. Not as easy as having four ships, but way easier than with two.

Outryder Cup just finished (Columbus won yay) and all of my matches were surprisingly wholesome. Every standard game I played was just 80 degree arced ships on the table. It was great fun. Also I faced literally one ship that moved before Kylo, everyone else out-PS or outbid him. But that's fine because it turns out Kylo is really good at blocking things when he moves first.

By far the most wholesome game I saw was Dion's Kyloboats vs. 3DPD. So wholesome in fact that they went time without losing a ship on either side and had to final salvo...I'm not sure how that happened either. Here's what the last turn of the game looked like:
