Strain management is key, use it but don’t use too much. Talents that either increase your Damage or number of hits are key. If I had another go at this I would focus on doing Strain Damage at Medium to long range. But that combination of high Brawn, high Soak Armour with Cortosis and Reflect is really incredible.

It wasn't the Damage ^^ it was the super Lucky Crit Roll of 149 - bleeding out... my opponent was minced meat hat the end 52 of 18 WT, and also over strain but I couldn't land a 150+ crit on him ^^"

Any interest in a battle of Soak 9 tank vs. Soak 9 tank? Bulk vs. my Denthos Ren? (I'd want to shuffle around his equipment a bit to give him real cortosis armor, since the referee ruling about the Talisman of Iron Fists...)

I hope so, but expect much more stringent rules for the next one.

My proposal is a set equipment list, everyone gets exactly the same gear to work with, but it’s how you use the gear that matters. That should make excluding the really dangerous stuff easier while still giving everyone room for creativity.

300 after creation seems rather good, you can get a lot of powerful abilities, try with that for now but it could drop to prevent the extreme Talents and Signature Abilities.

Dont just take my word for it though, this should be an open discussion with everyone, and probably won’t be decided until after the winner is crowned on the current championship

But remember no stacking of Defense - your Melee defense should be 2 (1 by saberpike and 1 by Amor master) or did I miss something?

And Morality 50 = lightside Pipe user ^^

Oops, you're totally right about the defense, it's not even about sources stacking.

Question before we get started: How would you feel about my adding 30 XP to match the 30 that the Bulk has accumulated from the tournament?

Also: Is it OK if I buy a couple Military Pouches for my stimpacks? I wasn't aware of that item when I made the character.

Hmm... 300 XP is a bit rough on active force users. FR3 is expensive.Might be able to pull it off with some frangul powder, though.

I would rule that a character can only make use of a single military pouch. Multiple pouches feels way too Munchkinesque for my sensibilities. But I haven't reviewed the other characters in the competition to see if they utilize multiple military pouches.

Bulk/Balk has all his stimpacks in military pouches, is why I asked...

of course as long as you have the money, up to 3 pouches are totally legit (it is like the Batman Utility belt ^^ )

(of course since bulk doesn't use weapons he don't need any space on the belt for those and can put all poaches there ^^)

and yes you may spend the 30 extra XP, we want a fair fight!
