Creature & NPC Actions

By arisgl, in WFRP Gamemasters

Hello all,

on page 47 of Tome of adventure it is written that Basic actions (assuming the requirements are met) are available to creatures and NPCs.

I have two questions regarding this:

1) Are actions like dodge, parry and block also available to Creatuers & NPCs?

2) If yes do the recharge like special actions? Remove 1 token at end of each round (Something that also means Block, parry and dodge can be used by only one NPCs every 2 rounds)

or a different one is used for each one of them and 1 token is removed at the end of that NPC's round?

They are certainly available if they meet the other requirements required.

Its not totally clear from the rules which way to track recharge on them, having a NPC not being able to dodge because is mate just did does seem a little strange though to me.

I think the rule of removing tokens at the end of the round for NPCs is just to make it easier for the GM to track, BUT i track them individually for each NPC just like PCs (I do that for all NPC avtions, not just basic actions though.

I'd go with whatever feels more right for you, neither option will "break" the system.

I totally agree.

Thanks m8.
