Town maps/layouts required please! *a cry for town flavour help!*

By Boze, in WFRP Gamemasters

Hey folks! It's that Boze guy again.

Something occurred to me and my group. As a GM I am great at taking on different personas and minute details which really helps everyone keep on track and not overlook things.

Though what my group and I feel is lacking are maps of towns and such.

For example, we just finished doing the day late shilling short (great intro btw everyone feels savvy with the rules)

Now I had a segway that the package inside the coach was an important letter for one of the more social characters who happens to be a noble. It is a signed letter from brettonia saying that his sorveign ruler has fallen under a bizarre sickness and current investigators believe the dissapearance of Andreas Von Bruener may have some connection (I really like this cause after an eye for an eye I can send them over to brettonia to investigate further to see if there is chaos corruption in court!)

Anyhoo back on topic, in short I really would like to get some more maps/layouts of towns, something more zoomed in then just an atlas that is included in the players handbook.

Anyone got any links/resources for some sweet 2nd edition maps/layouts? I can handle the rest! Thank you! :D

You can also try the following

The free ones are OK but there are many more that you can pay for and adapt them to your needs.

All great suggestions thanks!

I think I will need to try and supplement something for Ubersreik specifically.

Though I've just been rolling dice behind my screen to determine what quality of items were available. I said common but couldn't really think of any flavour or town descriptions to give them, disappointingly it occurred to me I was really lacking in the department of town lay outs and such on the fly.

I want to give them the option of "roaming town" and "checking out the sites"

think just getting maps will do? should I just use the maps as general "templates" and describe to them the map as I see it when they ask whats to see in the town...

I've played a lot of rpgs (lots of ad&d 2.0) but never as a gm and the town layouts is one thing that is really bugging me because I feel, i really suck at it lol.

*cry for help*
