Enemy wizards

Hi fellow GMs

How have you managed enemy wizards? Following the PC rules with all of the channeling, quick casting and selected number of spells? Is this too cumbersome and time consuming considering they are NPCs? Maybe for a nemesis this is ok but a group of wizards would put the game in a halt.

Tips, experiences?

When I used one, I just used the stat block from the ToA, and a handful of spell cards. I didn't bother tracking power; I just guessed when it felt like time to cast again. It worked fine. No one complained.

Thanks. I might do the same. Maybe a charging tokens could be used as with actions.

Yeah, sorry, I used the recharge rates, too.
