info about Malfic island? A story: Carnival of Death or the Thief & the coin

Carnival of Death or the Thief & Coin

The Recipe
To create this meal, you need a medium sized carnival, preferable with a freak show, than a small thief. You also need a wizard of the grey order to add a darker flavor and to conceal the bitter taste of betrayal. Add a pinch of willful Carnival Master, and get a medium size isle of dread, Malfic Island will do just fine. Stir in some necromancy and let the plot thickens for a few hours. Serve 4 to 5 adventurers. As an appetizer I recommend some of the colourful carnival attractions. Serve with Suspension 77, an sylvanian wine known for its deep flavor of distrustfulness, or the more lighter Averlander Scheming webs, with its peculiar after taste of confusion and lies. Enjoy

My way of saying that I am construction a modul for warhammer3. The two main elements of the story is a traveling troupe, a carnival complete with freak shows, Display of horrors and colourful NPCs. The other element is made up of Malfic island, found on page 85 in Sigmar`s heir.

My question is : does anybody have more information about Malfic Island, the ancestral home of the infamous Schrekensrich family?
If you do please share it with me.

Doh! One of the chapters in my campaign features The Dark Carnival - a traveling carnival with more than the bottom line at interest...

Looking forward to reading yours when it comes out!

Ah Nice, I'm planning an encounter with a carnivale later in my campaign also. Looking forward to read your versions of it.

This sounds really interesting, although it does bring back awful memories of one of my players one and only attempt to run a WFRP adventure. He systematically violated the PC's (no chance to avoid), had opponents that we couldn't touch in combat (literally, no matter what we rolled) and had the party manipulated by a wicked jester that was...wait for it...KHORNE INCARNATE!!!

He hasn't been allowed to GM for us since.

Look forward to seeing what you come up with Mal.

btw - I assume the info you have on Malfic Island involves that in Sigmar's Heirs? That's all I've got. Although could you use some of the stuff from River Life of the Empire in DotR? Or do you have that?

Hi I got the WFRP companion which include a lenghty article about carnivals in the old world. It have some great Ideas. some I will outright steal from the fair in Shadows over Bogenhafen. And yes I have DotR.

give me a week or two, to make the adventure ready. I will try to include maps to both the carnival fair, and the dreaded isle.
