Not done yet but here's my first nights work on maro.

Lovely overall look of a shambling undead horde approaching. I like the mismatching cloaks etc, it makes sense for them to be like this although I couldnt bring myself to do it and went for a uniform look.

I love the grass on shields etc, great look again which adds to the undead shambling horde.

I havnt read all the text so apologies if you have already noted this, but what is with the unusual basing? Is it intended to represent something specifically?

The bases are eggshells. Originally I had planned to do a blighted cracked ground look, but couldn't find anything right, but as I worked on it the effect looked more swampy. So my army has taken on a dead marsh persona.

Time will tell if the bases will last but so far they are solid aside from a few edges chipping, which only requires a light touch up.

That mount is going to give me hell for my scheme. Bones that are active are icy-blue for me and im pretty sure he's pumping magic into that wave of bones to move so...thats a lot of bones i need to paint and not have meld into one mucky paintjob somehow

Built a foam carry case using the core box and feldherr pluck foam.

They practically paint themselves, really easy sculpt to make look nice.

I'm really digging the dark elf themed Latari. The colours on the scion are amazing. Great stuff!

Nothing really new, but this is the result of 3 hours a night for a week.

It's actually just red with gold drybrushed over it. The gold gets a tarnished look from the Agrax earthshade.
