Hi I wondering , is a monsters "basic" attack the one that I should be using when attacking a PC even thought I understand they have access to all basic action cards just like the pcs.

for example , the beastmen has a basic action called "savage strike" would that be his default attack or would "meele stike " just like the pc's be his default attack?

I suppose what im asking is , is savage strike a special attack used at GM discretion or the default attack of all beastmen ?

If it has the Basic trait and a recharge of 0 then I'd use it as the default attack, but really you can do it however you like.

I'm with Monkeylite on this. Basically, if I have an option to avoid Melee Strike and Ranged Shot I'll take them as it adds more variety to the game.
