A spinoff game would be short-lived and have a limited following. The best way for FFG to ensure sales of prequel products is to keep them in X-wing.

The common objections to Republic and CIS factions/subfactions lack imagination. Where you see barriers, I see unexplored design space. Republic and CIS can be their own factions, and the existing factions can get the content they deserve.

Introducing: Dual Faction Pilot Cards

Pilot cards with a primary faction that defines most of its visual design, and an added secondary faction icon below the primary one. These pilots can be used by either of their factions.

Anakin and Obi can fly together in the Republic or against each other in the Empire and Rebellion.

[drop mic, moon walk off the stage]

I can’t moon walk.

So, you clumsily drop the mic instead? :P

In a word: fumbled.

I'll agree that new Republic and Separatist factions would work well. Fighters like the N-1 could be initially introduced as a Rebel ship, but then later get Republic pilots like they did with the Most Wanted expansion (as I assume would be the case with the ARC-170, and the Sheathipede)

Well played @jmswood . well played.

Now we just need FFG to hire yourself. Or my i suggest; we stage a war; and then when the war isn't going well we make a move to install you as the elected ruler of FFG?

¡Viva la revolucion!

All we need now is a "Gungan" patsy

hey what's this post doing on second page; putting it back where it belongs.

Long shall the rein of N-1 continue

Page 29 guys? Really? Come on! Save the Rebellion! Save the Dream!

So, with what we know about 2E so far, what changes with the N-1?

Considering we never saw it before, I bet it loses the Cloak action. Lol.

Maybe Focus>BR, evade>BR, TL, BR as the action bar. Seems good.

Extra wait due to all reprints.

2 dice attacks may be serviceable, no need for extra firepower upgrades.

It may actually work as a cheap torpedo carrier because of the torpedo changes (you don't need extra munitions). Maybe a red reload wouldn't be out of place?

I bet we will see Shara Bey in an A-wing sooner or later, with an ability more suiting a small agile ship, ready to be ported over.

Linking evade and BR certainly works for Anakin, heh.

Hmm, I wonder if linking BR and TL is a good idea? It would allow them to reposition for a torp shot and I don’t think i’ve seen a ship with those actions linked together yet.

Yeah, with the changes to ordnance, giving it the role of cheap torp carrier might be a good role for it.

I did't put that there, because it is really hard, nigh, IMPOSSIBLE to get a lock while you are spinning.

Fair. I was thinking more mechanics than fluff.

Probably end up in the Republic faction, where it belongs.

FLUFF>gameplay!

lol, jk.

We do not know we will get CW factions. Keep in mind that we did not get a Mandalorian faction, even though there are a TON of Mandalorians that are thrown in with Scum (Ketsu, all of the Protectorate pilots, etc.). I think they are satisfied with five factions.

Possibly. The door certainly seems more open with the seperation of Resistance and FO from their parent factions. Now, whether we still see it in the Rebel faction is still open, I feel. It will all come down to Leia in my mind.

What about a roll>red roll action because spinning’s a good trick.

You can't perform the same action twice in the same turn.

Ok. True. Didn’t know if the system still stood since I have seen the game play vids yet.

Bump from page 6. GEEZ! do I have to do everything around here? LOL.

Also, only 102 posts till quadruple digits!

That's baby Anakin's pilot ability, specifically worded that you can do that, but only if the first barrel roll isn't already a linked action.
