I was just thinking of a rough way to rate a character based on creation points, not sure it’s useful for anything more than a vague comparison between races/monsters. So, for example, the ungor uses 21 creation points to get its characteristics up from the notionally basic 332222 for its ‘career’. I added 0 points for wealth, 0 for skills (its 1 Expertise dice suggests 1 skill which is default), 1 for Talents and race abilities (in a similar vein to the dwarf-elf race abilities below), and 0 for its 1 Action Savage Strike. Wounds are a bit of a problem, but I thought I’d go for 1 creation point for every 2 wounds above/below 10, so the ungor wounds contribute -1 (This gives a human +1 for wounds).
For Gor I did 31 stats, 0 wealth, 0 skills, 1 for Talents, 2 for Actions, 1 wounds. Etc.
For Fear, I thought 1 point for each level and double it for terror, simply because I’ve seen a Terror 3 thing in action.
I didn’t bother taking points of for stats lower than 2.
The dwarf and elf characters should be worth something for their race abilities, so I gave them 3 each. This is not intended to reflect on their usefulness as PCs, but just as an NPC/foe/monster rating. The dwarf ends up with more points coz it’s gonna have 3 more wounds than a standard elf, I would think. And I added just 1 point for the human race abilities.
Hopefully that all sounds fair, although I’m not sure if it’s useful for anything. Maybe if you add your PCs’ creation points and their exp that total might give an indication of the number of the various monsters they could match.
