Some great repaints in this thread, so I thought I'd share some WIP shots of my N'Dru Suhlak. As soon as I saw the art on the ship card, I knew I had to reproduce it. I actually got into X-Wing so I didn't have to add to the huge backlog of minis that I need to paint, but sometimes I can't resist.......

Been getting into painting X-wing, used to paint for D&D but I'm finding I'm not too rusty. Here's a Z I did recently, meant to fly alongside a K-wing with a similar scheme. The little flecks on the nose aren't misplaced white paint--they're stainless steel wear marks that don't show through nicely when photographed

Another Z-95 repaint. I wanted a different black and white Z that could be either scum or rebel (I have six more with the stock black sun scheme - it’s one of my favorite FFG stock paint jobs).

Up to you. I've seen light grey, dark grey, metallic, white. Yellow/gold for the accents. Dark maroon-y red or bright blood-red for the nose art. It's a rite of passage for X Wing painting, but how you interpret it is your call, there's no one right answer.

Well I'm busy now, and it's gonna be a bright red with 'stone' grey... I might make the nose a shade darker though.

When I'm done (an when I figure out how the heck I upload Pictures) I'll show it.
