What's the rational behind giving it a second crew? or a bomb for that matter, Sabine would give it bombs.
Too many other-than-scum ships are getting illicit slots if you ask me.
I did a title card for the HWK that had a system slot and the cloak action, as a stealth-recon ship.

The rationale is in the new canon itself and in Legends.
For the bomb slot: "Originally manufactured without weapons, numerous HWK-290s were outfitted by the Alliance to Restore the Republic to drop incendiary bombs during the Undead Troopers invasion, which made them effective against infantry targets."
For the crew: "The freighter could accommodate up to six passengers and 75 tons of cargo." (the last information looks like extremely exaggerated, even if the ship in Legends was 7 meters larger)
Also, it's a ship that would fit very well for smugglers, I guess (hence the illicit).
But I guess <bombs> or <system> could fit better.

Star Wars: Commander? ugh, the use of a smart phone game as a reference is sad. I can't tell you disappointing it is to see the stuff in this game become cannon.

Passenger space doesn't tend to translate to crew slots in X-Wing. It's usually only actual crew that gives the extra slots (the vt-49 for instance in legends had 2 crew and 2 gunners, which could translate to the pilot + 3 crew slots, plus 6 passengers)

Hey, they made canon the HWK, the Decimator, the TIE Defender and the (non-clone) Z-95 in one roll! (only if the Assault Gunboat was in the list)
I don't like much the
Remake
Sequel Trilogy, but here is some ship we might see in the game soon:
I would probably give it the Reinforce action, and raise the cost, to make it more unique (dang the
Wooden
Wookie Gunship).
And it just needs some unique title ("Vader's Eta-2") to make it tougher.
About the Astromech slot, it could be included in the title instead, along the lines: "You may equip a non-unique <droid>" or "you may equip an "Imperial only" <droid>". Or FFG could create an "Imperial droid" upgrade. There is even the Vader's personal droid BT-1 .
This is a good chance to bring both this Clone Wars classic and Darth Vader in a super agile/fast ship - in the most canonical way .

(maybe too expensive?)
Perfect (except the art^^).
Now Tarkin piloting a V-Wing fighter ?

When did he fly that?
Whatever, probably some book or comic I haven't read.
Did anyone else know that the YT-2000 is canon?

Also appeared in Kanan comic book. Been hoping to see it on Rebels, even as a background ship. Maybe in season 4.

That is not a Mark One Starhawk, those things are battleship class size. In the same article you're quoting one takes on a Superstar Destroyer.

Tarkin flew a V-Wing as Vador's wingman in 14BY, during a mission to recover his personnal corvette, The Carrion Spike ( http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Carrion_Spike ), a kind of Raider with stealth system. Note that TIE fighters appeared the same year, and Tarkin was relieved to pilot a V-Wing instead of this new model without shield deflectors. He seems to be a quite good pilot (Pilot Skill between 4 and 6).

Just an adaptation of the awesome @cytruscannon title :

Yay! Somebody else read Kanan comics! I was so excited when I read that book and saw that the HWK was now canon!
Did you ever make tie experimental ship tokens, dials or pilot cards?

Nope... I find those ships... awkward.
But someone did some fine custom cards (including a crew to control those unmanned ships).
At least as awkwards as Gunboats.
Someone asked for Tarkin?
Extended Frontal Firing Arc: "Nestled between each wing and the hull were two twin laser cannons, which could swivel on the vessel's wing hubs to provide a wide range of fire."
No Astromech Droid: "However, later incarnations of the V-wing used by the Galactic Empire omitted the astromech, with the pilot as the only occupant."
Should have a Modification that adds <bomb> ou <cannon> (under 3 points).
Title "Imperial refit" could make it accept TIE upgrades.
PS: maybe 3 hull? (for increased cost)
PPS: I think Tarkin wasn't Grand Moff at the time he piloted this ship, but kept the same name of the crew for consistency.

I like it, but I would rather have two or so points shaved off and make it range one to three only, so that people without epic ships can still use him.

Oops. Indeed. I need to change it for range 1-3.
