He he so I've finally got to the start of act 2 on my first kindred fire campaign.

So far I've lost 1 quest but all the other wins were only just wins.

So I'm now slightly fearful of act 2 he he as the basis will get stronger yet I don't think my heroes have gotten much better over the past few sessions.

I'm going to be mangled lol

I played with one friend, 4 characters, and we didn't get enough fame in Act 1 to get Act 2 weapons/items and got demolished in the Finale.

Act 2 isn't that bad. The first couple of act 1 side quests ate usually the hardest I find.

I darednt look into the box of act 2 monster cards to see how much stronger they are.

My two little hero's are hiding in the bushes after the last quest trying to decide if to go straight to town shopping for act 2 gear or whether they are good enough to try a few straight act 2 side quests to build cash before doing the shopping.

They are thinking these bushes are quite a nice quiet place

Act 2 weapons don't automatically show up in act 2 of the game. It's based on your fame, so they can start showing up in act 1, or you may not see any until you are well into act 2. I'd say go for the quests, get more fame, and have more money to spend.
