Maybe a hair OT but not really...

I'm thinking of going to see rogue one because i heard it made combat in the star wars universe a lot darker and grittier than it's normally been shown as. I was thinking that a show featuring dark and gritty SF combat might appeal to WH40K fans. So, I'm asking anyone here who's seen rogue one if you liked it and what did you think of the combat?

I liked the movie. The space combat was certainly interesting, though I don't know if I would call it "gritty"

I just saw RO and think it may be the best star wars movie ever, It also had a kinda imperial guard feeling to it in some ways.

R1 was possibly as close to grimdark as SW gets.

Well except for the one with the feral xenos killing (and eating) the imperial storm troopers. ;)

Man I want Baze's gun for my inquisitor! There's something strangel "40k" about a belt-fed blaster with a pistol grip.

Also Vader was scary as hell in this one! That scene was almost like something out of a slasher movie. And it was awesome!
