If a card says that it can be advanced, is that even possible after it was derezzed (e.g. Ice Wall)?

If a card can be advanced, it can be advanced rezzed or derezzed.

As an example Tyrant can only be advanced while rezzed.

An ability that places advancement tokens does not count as advancing a card so those would be fair game.
