I'm sure that I'll offend people with this one, but I really like the Disk Wars/Battlemist feel, art, and fluff (what little of it there is) than anything from Runebound/Descent. I'm really glad that Battlemist is getting a redo with this new game, and I really like almost all the mechanics portrayed (still prefer dice) and love the tile sections (wouldn't work for TI at all but great for a fantasy world) rather than individual tile, and on a whole the game is a superior product of game design, but really guys, I liked the older fluff better.

Am I crazy? What do others think?

Personally I love the Terrinoth fluff, what little there is of it. I've also never had any complaints about the artwork, etc. One of the reasons I'm so excited about Runewars is for what I suspect will be a big influx of fluff (mainly inspired by/stolen from BM/DW, but I'll take it!) Of course, I never played BattleMist or Disk Wars, so my opinion isn't exactly unbiased.
