Andira Runehand's magic attacks gain Pierce 2 when she is adjacent to her target. When using spiritwalker to treat her attack as if it were coming from a nearby hero's space, would she get Pierce 2 against a monster who is adjacent to THAT hero?

We've always played it that it does.

That is correct.

The spiritwalking hero is considered to be in the space it is spiritwalking through for all aspects of the attack. Andira's ability is an aspect of the attack. Therefore, her ability applies.
