L5R RPG - is it an upcoming FFG product line?

Looking into the L5R RPG system and see it is currently on its 4th ed. FFG is listed as the producer for L5R products on DriveThru RPG.

Does FFG's license for this IP include RPG rights (it appears so)? And has there been any talk of FFG either simply taking over or revising a L5R RPG - i.e. just continuing production of 4ed as is vs. making a new version?

No info/updates?

I dug back and found the news post about acquiring the L5R IP and it indicated new card game GenCon 2017. And maybe even implied the RPG would see more life. But have we heard any specifics in terms of when, what, IF, where... ???

Well if FFG has it, you can count on it being like another WHFRP 3rd edition or something so they can have a card game rpg game with wonky dice and kill the roll & keep system, which will kill the game in my book.
