Does anyone know if booster packs will show if you're buying a hero pack vs. villain pack? In case someone only wants to collect 1 faction and not the other.

Nope. There is only one type of booster pack. It's all mixed in there. There are neutral cards as well. You can feel free to trade away or sell any cards you don't want. That's the beauty of the CCG.
