Ok as the title says what does everyone think if the following.

Omicron Shuttle + Palp + Title + Sensor jammer + Mangler cannon.

4 x Black squad pilots + 4 crack shot.

If this time my math is right it is 100 points. What does everyone think? Thanks ahead of time for your input both good and bad.

Because of its dial, I don't think the Mangler is a good investment for the Shuttle. You might get some good shots off in the opening pass, but getting back around for another run can be a two or three turn ordeal. I'd put those points into upgrading on of the ties to someone like Howlrunner and/or maybe getting a unique pilot on the shuttle.

Was thinking that if an initial alpha strike was good the rest of the game might not be so bad.

Mangler on Palp is viable. But with a mini Crack Swarm that shoots before the Shuttle, SabineKey is right. There's a lot of dice to modify on attack and defense. Get Howl in there to use Palp on defense.

I have had some luck upgrading the shuttle to Yorr for PS4, and putting a tractor beam on it. It can shoot before black squadrons and either clear tokens or those TIEs end up hitting really hard. If you have the point and like playing the dangerous game, an electronic baffle on the shuttle really helps it get arc consistently.

You know sometimes the ballsie game is what it takes.

Honestly, if you want to go all out, screw Palpatine. The Sith Lord you want is Vader. Don't use him right away, but once shields are gone (if everyone is PS4) you can make the shuttle fire last instead and use the primary, and Vader to finish it off. There's nothing so important that you need palp to save it anyway.
