I have been working on coming up with a list that is competitive, but not a net list. I like turreted ships so am planning on running one JM5k. I have been trying to build around that.

So far I have:

LIst1:

M3-A-Tansarii Vet: attanni mindlink, title, SD, HLC

Manaroo: attanni mindlink, title

YV-666 (TS): Zuckuss

List2:

Kath Scarlet: predator, 4-LOM, Engine upgrade

Dengar: Lone wolf, Flight instructor, R5-P8, title

With list 1, I tried a game with Palob instead of YV-666 and I won the game, but it was real close. Palob just didnt seem to have any staying power. He had a dorsal turret and mindlink as well.

List 1: That Scyk is definitely going to be the first target, it is s lot of points behind 3 total hp at ps5. HLC plus two points for the title is just too much to pay fir what you are getting, unless something else is an even bigger threat.

List 2: This is pretty solid except for the flight instructor. Recon Specialist is probably a better option for converting focus results and is s point cheaper. Or any of the scum only crew would be good in that spot.

I tried recon spec like was suggested and loved it.

I did switch Kath to a basic YV-666 with tractor beam, Zuckess, K4, Weapons Specialist (the two target lock guy) and title.

My opponent targeted Dengar as the first target allowing me to run with him while the slavery cleaned up the tie swarm from behind.

Thinking about switching a few points around to upgrade the slaver to Latts. That way with the extra TL's I can always have shots with Dengar at enemy ships with one less defense die. Should help I think for taking down aces.

No one is putting 13 points of upgrades on a black squadron tie pilot, so why would you put 13 points worth of upgrades the scum tie fighter. Throw mindlink on there, Ave use the remaining to upgrade your other ships.

Drop the Stealth Device for K4 on Manaroo. That will make your Scyk much more deadly while it's alive, and will give your Manaroo more power when she's alone.

No one is putting 13 points of upgrades on a black squadron tie pilot, so why would you put 13 points worth of upgrades the scum tie fighter. Throw mindlink on there, Ave use the remaining to upgrade your other ships.

Tansarii Vets with Attanni and HLC are fantastic with Manaroo. I ran 2 alongside Manaroo and did very well at tournaments.

Attanni and Manaroo make it far more than a Scum TIE Fighter. The Scyk gets Focus, Evade, TL every turn.

A triple action economy HLC platform for 27 points is not bad at all.

If OP fits a 3rd Attanni in, then the Scyk gets Focus, Focus, Evade, TL.

I keep playing around with your Manaroo + 2 vets list. I haven't dedicated enough practice to it to be as effective as you. I love the idea, just haven't been able to lock down any wins.
