Second Chances (OOC)

By Comrade Cosmonaut, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Mmm, lists. Yes, please!

By all means, if you guys want to see a place, people, group, or object, list them out. Otherwise I have to keep coming up with ideas, and after a while the whole thing comes out to be rancor poodoo.

I'm thinking Ze'nemon would be interested in meeting the Matukai, who's more physical approach to the Force would be appealing. As far as his skill set goes, he also might be interested in the Seyugi Dervishes.

I totally misread your post, BB. Instead of helpfully posting my own ideas, I expected Comrade to supply.

I second interest in the Matukai, the Zeison Sha family/survival culture--and Dathomir. Their witches use(d) the Force to tame animals, which may be up my brawler's alley, especially if I go Pathfinder or Hermit.

Unrelated to DLMA, the Ysanna are fascinating. I know they're hidden until Luke finds them, in Legends canon, but I love the idea of friends and family of Jedi hidden away--in a library. (the fact that I once played a cat-person named Chani from a species locked away in a library for centuries may be related; her people interpreted Dune as a bible and guide).

I think Aanu would love to encounter the Voss—or what they've left behind, as things may go. They're pretty much completely orthogonal to the whole Light/Dark axis of the Jedi and the Sith, and that's something that would interest Aanu greatly, with her whole weird thing about trying to invent the Grand Unified Theory of the Force. (Nevermind that that's probably impossible. She has goals, dangit.)

...yeah, most of my experience with Legends is from SWTOR.

I'm not sure there's a particular tradition that Kolah would want to meet. At present he has no Force philosophy and I can't think of one that fits him sooooo he's good with whatever or forging his own path.

Just to be clear, those are groups that I would like to see and know about, and that Ze'nemon might be interested in, but he doesn't know they exist at start.

I am not very familiar with the EU, so other then the Jedi, Sith, Witches of Dathomir, and Dagoyans, I don't really know any other traditions.

However, since Kalira is much more about looking to the future and creating a new path for others to follow, I'm not sure it matters quite as much for her story.

Also, Mr. Spaceman, are we almost ready to blast off :) ?

Hey, my Destiny Roll was a black pip, too! Don't feel bad, happens to the best of us!

Legitimate question: Kyuzo need breath masks normally. Would Ze'nemon have kept his or not while in prison?

From what I've read (which, granted, is only the little bit in Forged in Battle), Kyuzo don't need the breath mask to not die, it's just very uncomfortable for them without it. I would assume that our "friends" here don't care much for our comfort, so I could see them taking it. Alternatively, maybe the did leave it. Who's to say?

Captain Cosmonaut, that's who :) .

If I can't arm, you can't breathe; they're totally equivalent!

I doubt the Empire would do the research, and probably think you're a Kel Dor simply because you're not human and wearing a mask, so they let him keep it due to incompetent racism.

Aanu's actually pretty pale for a Zabrak, Blackbird. :P

...have all of us so far really rolled one dark pip? Dear stars.

Let's assume Ze'nemon is equating pale with a lack of exposure to light, i.e. darkness.

Yeah.

Help us, Kolah! You're our only hope!

You might want to get used to those black pips!!

So the censors strike again.

Quirks? Cants? Raises, wouldn't be it. Arches?

"C*cks" did it. Guess my pet hyper-rooster is out the airlock.

D wishes she was a wookie; those guys are super huge and tough.

Also, D may be being a bit more rough and gruff to pay Kalira back for the electrocutions.

Perfect! She definitely deserves it! :D

The gank turns toward the man with his gun; when his barrel moves on from the human woman, the gank stands a little more easily and returns her attention to the human woman. Another shove is imminent. With two good arms, the gank won't drag her; if need be, she'll carry the speciesist woman after the gotal.

Awwww you know I wasn't the only one thinking it!!!!!!!

No, you weren't the only one thinking it: I was thinking it, and she's my character :D !
