2 Sisters of Battle Looking for a play by post Game

By Servant of Dante, in Dark Heresy Play By Mail/Email

I'm keeping Balthazar out of this conversation. He's intentionally letting the Sisters get a feel for interacting with people outside the Schola and will let things run their course unless they get out of hand.

Friggin' forum won't let me quote properly. Why is there no way to edit the source code directly instead of this messy frontend?

I'll get a post in tomorrow since its been a while and Thorne hasn't been actively participating in the conversation regardless (which is perfectly ok)

Alright, and thanks. :)

I'll keep that in mind then, see if I can't get something in tonight then.

If Weasels doesn't manage to get a post in by tomorrow I'll roll for them since the both of you seem fine with his character rolling.

If afterwards Weasels would want to have used a Fate Point for something with that result then we can resolve that as well.

I have my current Fate points at 2 but not sure if I just forgot to refresh them at some point :D

I figure that if anyone knows about, or even has a copy, of this series it might be one of you two given your knowledge of Sororitas lore.

So, do you know if the particular collection of the Daemonifuge series released in 2005 called "Daemonifuge: Heretic Saint" actually continues and finishes the plotline that got interrupted during its run of Warhammer Monthly 86?

Basically, does it continue past the reveal of the Culexus Assassain Ephrael was about to face?

Secondarily if you do know, is the normal paperback version a version that contains that information, or is it some special deluxe hardcover that I've heard also exists (but cannot find and it seems to only be Book I of the series that is Hardcover or Deluxe)?

Yeah, but not by much. There's like another 8-10 pages where they fight and Ephrael basically *overloads* the Culexus, blowing his brains out, then tells the Inquisitor to stay away from her before she "walks off the stage", so to speak.

There's no real culmination in the sense that we get to know her eventual fate, but rather more like an understanding that she's still out there, pursuing her quest.

If the paperback is the one I have, it does include these pages.

The hardcover, which I also happen to own ( :D ) is just Book 1 with larger pictures. This was the original distribution for Daemonifuge; the paperback is the reprint collecting all the stories in one book.

Lyn, why're you so good lol, thanks for the information. I don't think I'll pick up the trade until I have a little extra cash.

I mean I haven't even read my complete Warhammer Monthly collection yet anyways, so I'm not going to be missing anything for a while.

Ohh, I'm a little bit jealous. I've seen a few of those and the stories always seemed pretty good -- more diverse than what's in the novels, usually!

And good luck with your move. :)

I've heard they...vary in quality lol, but I'm definitely interested in the Kal Jerico stuff, and Daemonifuge is why I even began really working on completing the line when I got like 16 issues for free. I just never knew the author eventually added to it and wrapped up what was happening.

But they were offered as a pdf edition for free at one point, plenty of places to read them on the net. I just like print, and the pdfs seem to have removed some of the literature they put in the comics on occasion as well.

Move should be...fine? Internet is coming Monday but I'm right next to someone I know personally and have their wifi password so it should suffice until I get a connection of my own.

I'll get a post in later today.
