Qui-Gon Jinn

Queen Amidala

Admiral Ackbar

AT-ST

Speeder Bike

First Order TIE

Other Cards confirmed via pics or video:

Edit: Updated with new material listed in the thread.

Jango is in this set. Card number 21.

We also know a couple of enhancements with dice.

Force Training is enhancing Luke in the main article.

Force Choke is shown as an upgrade with a dice in this other article.

https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/star-wars-destiny/

We learn a bit about battlefields like the Jakku Ruins and Icon types.

Another card seen in these images is Mind Trick.

Hype

Pausing the announcement trailer at 9 seconds we see a splash of dice including:

  • Rey's Staff
  • AT-ST
  • Speeder Bike
  • Queen Amidala
  • -A die showing Kylo Ren when he interrogates Rey
  • A guy that looks kind of like Owen Lars
  • A few other dice that look mainly like weapons
  • To the right we can see a battlefield that looks like the Emperor's Throne Room

Pausing the announcement trailer at 11 seconds we see a battle scene showing

  • Darth Vader 's card and dice
  • Some upgrades for Vader

Pausing the announcement trailer at 18 seconds we see a battle scene showing

  • Qui-Gon Jinn's card and dice

Pausing the announcement trailer at 20 seconds we see a battle scene showing

  • An upgrade for yellow characters called "Second Chance"

Pausing the announcement trailer at 26 seconds we see a battle scene showing

  • A better shot of Vader 's card and dice.

Pausing the announcement trailer at 29 seconds we see a battle scene showing

  • A first order tie-fighter and lightsaber upgrade cards.

Pausing the announcement trailer at 31 seconds we see a battle scene showing

  • Better views of the Speeder Bike and Force Choke dice.
  • What I believe looks like a Poe Dameron , or some sort of rebel pilot die.

Pausing the announcement trailer at 33 seconds we see a battle scene showing

  • An even better view of Vaders card (he's #010)
  • New cards for Ackbar and Jet Packs
  • At the top note there are two differently colored Force Choke dice. (Neither match the blue in the article, so maybe this is just poor visual prototyping).

I'm sure there's more and a lot of half cards in there but this looks fun.

For Fun..

001... Captain Phasma

BB-8's dice is shown on Rey's starter set along with Fin's die and the Kylo set also includes a Stormtrooper and a Tie Fighter.

170? Welp there go my hopes that this would be a small set...

Queen amidala? I wonder if Padme Naberry will be in the set to, so you can (maybe) prevent damage to her because the queen is a decoy. That would be cool.

Uh Oh.

Just realised... If there is a queen Amidala...

Sigh.

There's gonna be a Jar jar die, isn't there?

Hell yeah there should be! Would be cool if like 4 of the 6 sides of the dice kind of hurt yourself from his clumsiness BUT 1 or 2 sides he just absolutely does something awesome. ^_^

I would totally play Jar Jar in my deck or as a main character. Mostly for the troll factor, but a mechanic like that sounds like fun, too!

Umm I hope so!, some of us actually don't Hate the character with a passion.

Beginning sets are always huge, look at other card games.

Seems like Awakenings is going to cover ALOT of material. Makes me wonder how many expansions there will be.

They'll probably take the route that WOTC Star Wars Minis went with and have new versions of the same characters with different subtitles and abilities.

His die should be a D4 or a D8 for the "Eh???..Huh???" factor :)

Well i gues i should post all my findings here and not across multiple threads.

So far i identified 5 different rarity colors.

grey, yellow, blue, green, purple

greys appear to be for fixed starter cards

yellows/blues should be common/uncommon. no idea what order

greens are rare

purples are legendary

you can see these colors in the background of the set number part of the card.

the highest set number that is visible in the trailer is 174. name of the card is not readable but it is a location.

all location that got their rarity color indicator shown are grey so they might all be fixed starter cards.

cards that got a corresponding dice are either purple, green or grey.

the highest set numer that is either green or purple that was shown in the video is 66

items/vehicles/abilities seem to have only 1 die corresponding to them

characters got either 1 or 2. you can see that by looking at the point value for each cards. if they have two point values they got 2 dice if there is only one then it only got 1 die.

there will be at least 8 legendary cards. 4 hero cards and 4 villain cards are already known.

fun fact: the cards for 5 starters can pe printed on one sheet. thats why there are 24 cards in the starter.

Force Choke is a blu card and has a die:

I don't think that the colors of the cards represent the rarity of the cards

He wasn't talking about the color of the cards, but the color around the card number in the lower right of the card.

please read my text again. i highlighted the part where i explain where you can find these colors.

and thanks for pointing out force choke. must have missed that somehow.

Right now the LCG has Rebel Pilot Luke, Hoth Pilot Luke, Luke, Commando Luke, and how Throne Room Duel Luke.

Also Hoodie Han, Pilot Han, Han Han, General Han, and bow Buddy Cop Han.

Han Han? :P

I enjoyed the laziness of Decipher Star Wars when they literally made "Obi Wan with Lightsaber"... you know, not like all those other obi wans... with their lightsabers...

And then the lazy, simplistic "Dude w/Weapon" versions ended up being better competitively than the actual interesting versions.

Shoots First Han. So ya know Han Han
