Is the word "broken" broken?

By EdgeOfDreams, in X-Wing

Broken is simply overloaded the same way literally is, to mean both. Better read the whole sentence to understand the context! (And roll your eyes when anyone says you're using it wrong.)

Most of the time these terms are used by people who still have to learn more about this excellent game...

;)

But telling the truth, there are design flaws, no matter what word you use and how many prefer to emit smug and spam "git gud" posts.

That is very true, but in my case and others here; we are old doggs who know how to fix stuff.

That is why you have rarely seen me on here screaming at FFG to FIX... BROKENS!

Fuc-dat... I can and I WILL do it myself. Been playing these games for thirty now; since I was a kid, and gaddamit I know who to make them work just great.

;)

I think more people need to look at the term broken as a challenge. As soon as someone says a ship is broken we all need to pull outvour card collection and come up with at least 3 different ways to use it each.

YUP!

:D

The word "broken" is #broken, we should elect a new word president to make Broken Broken again.

I agree that Broken should be nerfed. I'm still waiting for the 2 Bank fix, as well.

Wasn't that the s-loop? That should be nerfed with a 360 s-loop. After performing a 2 bank manoeuvre; rotate your ship 360 degrees and watch the Star Wars Holiday Special then receive 12 stress tokens, 2 ion tokens and a dose of small pox.

Broken still has some meaning left because not everything is broken.

--- recipe to break everything ---

make all small base generic pilots cost 2 less points (except tie fighters & Z-95's)

make all large base generic pilots cost 2 more points (except the firespray)

Once everything broken, then it ceases to have meaning.
