FFG I have a Request for Printed Materials for Torny Use

I've seen Toqtamish around longer, so I'm liable to believe him. But, amazing, we are talking about a human, who may have made a mistake somewhere.

I just wish FFG would get around to making their own official squad building app. It could print out official lists along with maneuver charts and also integrate into their tourney software to creat an official archive of played games and lists.

So those of us who threw away the itsy bitsy table thingies are screwed?

Would be nice if someone official would say something about the custom made manouver cards. Otherwise nothing seems to be clear whether we can use them at tournaments or not...

It would make approximately zero sense for them to disallow printed cards with all the maneuvers on them (or viewing them on a phone, etc.).

The maneuvers available to each ship are public information and it would be unreasonable for them to expect everyone to cut out and save the maneuver sections from the packages of each ship. Especially since many people don't buy every ship.

The information from the official documentation is what's important, not the physical presentation of it. Not allowing us to rearrange and represent dial information how we want would be like not allowing us to make a photocopy of the basic rule book and print it half size or on colored paper. It would be dumb. Clearly the official information is still the same, regardless of how it's viewed.

Hang them from your mirror in the car, super swag ;/)

Well, I spoke to him 17 seconds ago.

Can you ask wade if they will made a PDF of the ship movement?

To solve this dilemma FFG will release Pilot Card Upgrade Kits with printed movement charts- and then... Upgrade Card Upgrade Kits?

Seems like the simplest solution really is to shove a movement list into the back pages of the FAQ. Then it can be printed out 'for reference' as official FFG material. Could even go so far as to say that reproductions of that page are allowed 'so long as the movement content is not changed'.

Then you've made manouver references legal, whilst explicitly disallowing incorrect ones (which is presumably at least part of their motivation here).

This is is precisely right and allowed as per the rules and OP member Wade saying so. It's the information that counts and falls under the part thereof portion of the rules.

Wrong. The cards that have all the maneuvers are still legal. Even after August first.

But what if you don't have that expansion yet or, like the O.P., threw yours out?

An official PDF maneuver reference is now required by FFG because they decreed that nothing else will be legal, even a put-together reference sheet.

Ebay market is going to be crazy now....

Hmm, did I keep my duplicate bomber and defender inserts? I could make a few quid there.

[edit] Or not, if home-made versions remain legal.

One big sheet is fine, but I would prefer if they just printed the maneuver template for each ship on a pilot size card, instead of printed on the packaging material. Then you could sleeve it like a pilot card and only pull out the ones you need. Easy to store, easy to pass around the table and not too big.
