Is AH over? Nope.

Oh, and have you tried the pâté?

lol! yes, I have, and its to be devoured for! What I had heard about Innsmouth was that it would involve a mechanic that bounced off of elder signs to add doom. This proved very prescient.

I have heard otherwordly rumour its not over yet, and that FFG have a Plan...but what the plan is, I havent a clue preocupado.gif And I dont like sharing stuff because I cant back any of it up and things change, so I dont like stirring pots that may never boil over. But...its not over.

They could certainly do more expansions that include additional heralds, AOs, and Investigators. etc. I'm sure we all love the variety.

If they were to add additional boards or mechanics i would like to see something that would expand on the other world encounters.

Perhaps an other world quest where an Investigator spends several turns having encounters as a way to permanently close the other world? (so no more gates could be opened there?) But maybe this is one of those "its not broke, don't fix it" situations...

Ladies & Gentlemen please welcome with warm applauses......... Arkham Horror SECOND EDITION !!!!! :D HIDE YOUR WALLETS !

... ;)

I think the current incarnation IS a second edition.

I like the game as it is. with all expansions in play it doesn't really need any more.

I would of course buy and enjoy any further AH expansions/dice/figures/socks etc.

Personally I would prefer the long awaited booster box - more act cards and such for when many or all expansions are in play. Mountains of Madness would be a great theme. I like the idea of extending the other worlds - maybe where by chance or choice the game went somewhere completely different, a bit like the old Talisman Timescape board but not so annoying.

Heh... I'd love an all expansion mix fix, but I'm not expecting it. Have you seen my custom heralds? I've tried to fix all the small box expansions with a few of them (Particularly Black Goat of the Woods and King in Yellow— I still haven't made a second Nyarlethotep herald that increases the probability of drawing exhibit items though). And some of the larger ones... I also still haven't made anything that makes Kingsport fun :'/

Here's a direct link to my photobucket account (heralds mostly):

Thanks these look good!

Yes. We can kill Shoggoths with shotguns, but travel to the Arctic Circle for $1? Inconceivable!

I just have to say that this line made me laugh. partido_risa.gif

Read this. It's more of an Arkham Horror Express thing, I guess...

That's odd, to say the least. I'm sure there's room for another Lovecraft game but I'd prefer if the big L were working on another expansion. :)

Still and always, Azure Flame forever

You're welcome. And good luck :')

Oh! And make sure to dig through the heralds thread. There's a *great* Nyarlethotep herald that was made a month or two ago I think. And there's a cool werewolf herald that was made around the same time (that I helped coauthor), and there's a number of other interesting things there (I liked the recent King in Yellow herald someone recently made, although I have to admit, it's pretty tough).

I hope you read it properly, in the voice of Vizzini ;')

So, the pâté is a bit fluffy and underdone, it would seem. Let it cook, you say...

I think a quest book in the vein of Tales of the Arabian Nights for specific encounter locations would be nice. It wouldnt take up much more space on the overloaded table and it would be possible to have a specific storyline for each ancient one.

indeed. The shoggoth has not yet risen. Tight lips prevail, but the tongue is ever restless.

I probably didn't. The line was just so extremely spiked with nerd humour. I mean just imagine how a person unfamiliar with Arkham Horror and Lovecraft litterature in general would react to that line:

-"First of all, what the hell is a 'shoggoth'? And second, why does he imply that they are improable to kill with shotguns?"
