I would personally want to see Nyarlathotep and Tsathoggua. As for investigators, I think there might be a Miskatonic University expansion where Amanda, Carolyn, Kate and Vincent would fit in quite nicely.

We do have both a rumor-spawned "Wind-Walker" monster and a separate Ithaqua Ancient One.

Some of my top picks would be Nyarlathotep, Glaaki, and Daoloth.

Yeah, I thought of that too. I always imagine that the "Wind-Walker" Epic Monster is simply some kind of extra-powerful Wendigo. Isn't Nyarlahotep also sort of the same as The Dark Pharoah? I get lost on some of the actual mythos because I don't really know where to read most of these. Are they primarily Derleth contributions?

I'd really like to see everyone's favorite drifter, "Ashcan" Pete, make an appearance. Who doesn't want to spend at least one game of Eldritch Horror sifting through the discard pile with man's best friend at his side?

Nyarly definitely comes from Lovecraft. I don't know how much was added by Derleth.

"Sort of the same" is a very good way to put this. As far as I know it's not completely clear whether Nephren-Ka was a "just" a powerful servant of Nyarlathotep or one of his Masks. I prefer the latter interpretation.

I don't believe we'll ever get a full version of Nyarlathotep but one can dream. At least maybe we could get another Mask.

I have to admit, I'm much more interested in what investigators we will see three expansions from now*.

We've got just enough investigators for two expansions, so for the third one they would need to release some new characters - for the first time in 7 years**.

*hoping that there will be that many expansions

Nyarly is kind of covered with the Dark Pharaoh.

Horror on the Orient Express would be nice. You could move to the European board at Istanbul, Rome or London and then expand Europe a little more.

However, my guess is we'll probably get a board which explores Himalayas with a connection to Tunguska, and maybe another one which explores the Amazon. I suspect that Talents will appear in many more expansions, and there'll probably be a location devoted to them, much like Alexandria for Glamour spells.

When all the side boards are finished, I'd love to see a deluxe board which incorporated all of them on one board.

Hm.... to go further on my idea that the next expansion will be set in the Dreamlands (so i hope!), i'd Expect Bokrug and Altach-Nacha in the Dreamlands, with maybe an avatar of Nyarlathotep.

when an investigator performs a rest action they can test lore or will and if successful (or 2 successes) can go to the dreamlands. i think it would be epic, particularly because i really love the story of the dreamlands and liken it to like a LoTR epic.

also for investigators i think we have a good group for the dreamlands

granted the dreams seem more directed towards Cthulhu, but they could easily spin it.

My #1 (new) investigator candidate would be Isabelle Barnes. I always though she should be a investigator in her own right as she seems to have been involved before even Jenny. I've almost made her myself a few times.

Maybe even Wendy's or Hank's fathers.
