The end of Anima

By Sebastian Traitor, in Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG

I've just read a mail which tell me about the 30% off sale of the pdfs, as written in another topic.

However, the news is that after the 16 May, Anima will be no longer sold on DriveThruRPG and RPGNOW.

Probably this will be the end, maybe also of this forum, I don't know.

Well, it's certainly not the end of Anima, since there's at least one other forum, the video game is still in the works, and a host of other things which say the actual development team is still very much dedicated to the project.

As for THIS forum, there's a good chance you're right. FFG isn't likely to keep up a forum for a product they no longer have anything to do with, though they might just keep it around because it's not costing them anything (or, perhaps, just less than the cost of deleting it). So, who knows?

Anima is still alive and well though, even if this forum won't be.

Agreed, if FFG decides they are well and truly done with Anima then that just means anyone with a decent offer (such as the dev team) could claim it and give it new life. You really can't kill something like Anima that easily.
