Do you think they can realistically release expansions for this

By Ou1975, in Star Wars: Rebellion

Yes I see no reason why they can't, even after reading the comments down below. It's not like those people have to buy them. If people will fork out cash to buy Imperial Assult expansions then they will defiently buy Rebellion expansions.

You don't even get to draw all you those lovely cards to begin with... Unless they are going to add draw an "extra three cards" I don't really the usefulness of getting extra cards. Except for maybe those combat cards. Also how do you reply without getting that quote box.

Some of you people need to understand the different types of release strategies that FFG uses.

A small expansion or two would probably be nice. More tactics cards, a couple more units for each side, more missions/objectives, maybe some expanded abilities for different leaders. I would imagine it would be a nice way to shake things up a bit without having to drop a whole new edition of the game.

An expansion that alters the way combat works could be fun.

When I bought into Rebellion, I thought about it as a campaign system for Armada. I've come to the realization that while I might steal concepts from it, it wouldn't work.

However, I was thinking that an expansion that helps integrate Rebellion with Imperial Assault might be fun.

Expansion, Expansion, Expansion!!!

They may have to release a few more minatures for the immersion to work. Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Bespin, Corellia and Coursant have all miniatures you to need but Imperial Assualt only has two Mandalorians!!!

I mean, a lot of the time you're going to be seeing Rebel Troopers v Stormtroopers anyway. We don't need local flavor for every planet.

That being said, I do like the idea of using IA and Rebellion together- however, perhaps not as a replacement for combat, but as a replacement for missions. Maybe each icon relating to a mission could give users a certain amount of points for a skirmish game, and the mission would resolve based on the successes of that round.

They should do this add some rebels and rogue one characters It would work pretty well in the base game i would say as long as they kept it even and for the Vader thing it could be one of the missions available but i think they should only be able to do it if they fail somehow like lose a battle or mission and not just wily nilly to keep it realistic and thematic and i definitely think as long as you keep new character sides balanced it would be just fine i also think that with this you should be alowed another recruit round and 2 or 3 new planets

And this is why I haven't been around in a VERY long time. It used to be fun to log in and chat and such. Now? Too many trolls and whiners.
