Because I wanted to go a Soresu Guardian, and from my characters background he was a loner that enjoyed fiddling with mechanics in his spare time, I went with a Cerean Soresu Armourer build, with 4 Intelligence and 3 Wisdom.

30 minutes into the first session, I realised how different it was playing this character to my Edge character (stealthy ranger-type combat specialist) when I was rolling for a lot more than just lightsaber and modding gear...I was a computing, astrogating, repairing, healing, master of lore. And I was thankful for getting Grit talents, because with one green dice I was Aiming a LOT. My first purchase was a physicians kit so I wasn't getting the setback on medical checks.

As great as it is to get into combat and use my lightsaber, it's been just as much fun out of combat doing all sorts of odd jobs.
