Is there a cheat sheet for character creation, cliff notes, or just the facts?

I like the creation steps in the book(s) and think it would be nicer of there was a more condensed version...

Sorry to necro, but this is important for anyone coming to this thread from the box set... or even you, if you haven't found it:

There isn't a condensed version of character creation, but if ease of use/time spent meandering and turning pages is what's worrying you, you'll want OggDude's Character Creator .

It condenses every species, career/spec, equipment, vehicle, Force power, etc from every book except (for the time being) Special Modifications. The only thing it doesn't provide you with is text for the talents and descriptions of certain NPC abilities or the various Backgrounds/Motivations/Duties/etc. Those you have to find on your own, or get from a friend who can pass you a data file, if you don't want to type/flip through books.
