Nothing more European than Triple Jumpmasters
2016 System Open Series Results
You'd think the T-65 would've put in more of a showing. You know, seeing as how it's fixed and all that.
Still, a TIE Swarm winning a major event in 2016? That's pretty nice.

A 7 TIE Swarm, which isn't the Crack Swarm.

A 7 TIE Swarm, which isn't the Crack Swarm.
It had four crackshot cards amongst the seven. At worst, psuedo-crackswarm.
Edited by DerocheIt had been nicknamed the patti-swarm in London over the last few months after the now yavin open winner
I watched the game and I think that jousting a 7 tie swarm (with Howl, too) is not a good idea...

Quickest way to learn.
What was the 3x JM5K loadout ?
PS1 Ties are very annoying against a big ship.

It was Ryan Fleming's Hoth Open list with R4 Agromech -> Overclocked R4 + 4-LOM. Was chatting to the guy, he was saying 4-LOM was worth his weight in gold (Which I can see vs aces, to be fair!)
For clarity the whole list was:
Contracted Scout, Deadeye, Plasma Torpedoes, Overclocked R4, Guidance Chips - 30
Contracted Scout, Deadeye, Plasma Torpedoes, Extra Munitions, 4-LOM, Overclocked R4, Guidance Chips - 33
Contracted Scout, Deadeye, Proton Torpedoes, Extra Munitions, Boba Fett, Overclocked R4, Guidance Chips - 34

I heard that a Scum 4 x HWK-290 list when 6-0 the first day at Yavin. Is this true? How did it end up? I think that's awesome.
EDIT: I just saw that other thread. Sorry! I'll read there.

tl;dr It dodged all of the hard counters on it's first day (Triple boats, Swarms)
I love seeing the swarm! I doubt most people at the event had ever flown against a good swarm since they have been out of use for the last couple years. It was VERY common knowledge years ago that jousting a howl swarm was instant death. I'm glad some things haven't changed.
Ask and ye shall receive:
Top 32 lists from the Yavin Open
http://www.186th.org/news/top-32-squad-lists-yavin-open-2016
4 Rebel lists in the top 32.
Of those 4 Dash appears in 3, The Ghost appears in 3, and Corran appears in one.
This is our new meta, and quite frankly you're welcome to it.

That guy really travels everywhere in Europe, right?
He will also be streaming live from Naboo I think. Must be several guys submitting to the same channel
For both, Tatooine and Yavin, is the same guy. He is based in Spain so this time won't mean a huge travel, and for Yavin he took advantage of having family living just next to where the tournament was being hosted.
Edited by KharneteIs there a firm attendance number for Yavin? I have heard both 414 and 424.
Edited by moppersNo info on the rest of the lists that made the cut. Also, I didn't had acces to final first day table so I can't precise the MoV for the second day. Used the total amount.
And RIP Rebels and Palp Aces.

Tatooine is b eautiful at this time of year!
There's the kind of lists I expect from the Europeans.
