Aw, too bad. I would have done a turn 3 on that last round with Soontir. That might have helped. Not sure. EDIT: But at another point he did a turn 2, and I would have done a bank, which would have gotten blocked. I guess you can't be right all the time.

I would have turned down a draw versus Drew. His list is pretty scary to imperial Aholes, so I figured I had a free chance at eliminating a dangerous list so I wouldn't have to face it in elimination.

It worked out but only because I got lucky on the last turn.

I think Ryan is a good guy Fwiw. I have known him for several years now and recall having interesting and thoughtful conversations with him. Also, making it to the elimination rounds of such a prestigious event is pretty stressful and nerve racking ... Cut him a break

Seriously? The "exact antithesis"? What an absurd overreaction. The guy is flying well, knocking off extremely talented players, and is now in the final of a 250+ person tournament. Of course he's going to be giddy and have lots of nervous energy.

But really, we should be happy, right? The ordnance fix has finally arrived! OK, so right now it looks like only Contracted Scouts can use ordnance successfully, but give it some time; I think some really great ordnance lists are just around the corner.

I want to see a Z95 swarm with the ordinance fix.

I flew Biggs+R4-D6+IA, Blount+XX Tracers+DTF, Tala+Assault Missiles+GC as my alt-list at Hanger Bay this weekend (anti-swarm tech). It was fun. Blount drops the tracers, then the Talas get 4 TL+focus ordinance shots, and Biggs with the Blount DTF and R4-D6/IA protects the Talas from dying before they get the missiles off.
