After reading through the Bestiary section of the Tome of Adventure a couple times I've come up against a question I can't answer regarding creatures' stat lines.

Most creatures have at least 1 fortune die symbol adjacent to one or more of their characteristics. I don't see any explanation of what it is supposed to be for. What am I missing?

An example would be in the Beastmen entry. The Ungor and Gor have the fortune die symbol beside their Toughness, while the Wargor has it adjacent to its Strength.

Does it just mean that whenever a check is rolled with the characteristic, a fortune die is automatically added to the check?

So, when a Wargor attacks, his basic dice pool is 4 blue dice, 2 red dice and 1 white dice?

Yes, you're entirely right.

It works the same as PCs who have purchased a fortune die for any of their stats. Yes, bascially, they get an additional [W] for any tests involving that stat.
