If monstro lvl 1 is out, each player can have 3 friends.
Can another friend be played? And in doing so the player could discard a friend they did not want?
or once 3 friends are out your stuck until you use one to battle or challenge with?
If a friend is moved from the friend zone to the challenge area, can you use a magic/friend card? or are you still limited?

Yes, you can still play friends but you are forced to discard down to 3 once the friend in in play
Magic/Friend cards such as Simba and Bambi have comes into play ablilities which resovle before monstro takes place.
