Has anyone tried or see this storage option?
It fits everything from the original base game. I only have Foresaken Lore so I think that should fit too.
For $30.00 USD it hardly seems worth me building my own. Drawing or cutting straight lines isn't something I'm good at.

Why would you need an organizer just for the base game? Everything fits just fine just the way it is.Eventually each deck in a sleeve. When you're adding all the expansions and sideboards it becomes a problem and you need an organizer. I personally managed to cram the base game/strange remnants/Mountains of Madness and Under the Pyramids with the sideboards in with the only downside being that the lid on the box only closes 50% but it's good with me. If someone makes a custom box for the game(larger-just like the one here made by wolfn2it&wife) yeah, I would pay that money for that but for those cardboard cut-outs that separate your own box I believe it's a waste of money.
Because like I said I only have the core game and Foresaken Lore so I don't need an organizer for everything else. Also I don't think I'm getting the other expansions.

Another option is put an organizer together yourself. If your a little crafty then I would recommend that avenue, and if that's the case then foam core is your friend. Get yourself a good utility knife, a glue gun or Elmer's glue, and a foamboard and just go to town. There are a few YouTube videos and measure the box and cards. As a side note my wife uses a glue gun because he dries faster but it is a little messier than Elmer's glue. After the first expansion though you might expect to have to either get a bigger box or just store stuff in multiple boxes. Either way good luck.

I understand that you need it but paying 50% of the value of the base game(in my country the base game sells at around 60$) for some carton cutouts in my opinion is a little pricey.For 30$ i would buy Strange Remnants
I would also suggest what @wolfn2it said and try to build it yourself. If you're the kind of person that likes doing work with their hands then you get double the pleasure.

Well I have bought a very similar organiser from BoardGamesFactory on Etsy, I have to say that I found it really speeds ups setup and tear down. I have the base game only, all cards sleeved and it fits beautifully. Like me, I don't have the time and skill to build my own. If you're happy to spend the money then I'm sure you'll see it as money well spent.
I know since my wife and I put together our organizer it takes a fraction of the time to set up and put away. If this is something you like I say go for it you won't be disappointed.

Also I need to consider whether or not I want to purchase Strange Remnants.
Definitely get the Strange Remnants. Syzygy is very cool to play against and the focus action is something that you're gonna like and it should've been included in the base game.
