Sleeving?? Penny's?

By alexbobspoons, in Warhammer Quest: The Adventure Card Game

So

I am thinking I will sleeve hero cards in ultra pro deck protectors, while the main standard decks with ultra pro penny sleeves for economy. Myself I quite like penny sleeves.

But... what about the minis?

I know ffg make high quality mini sizes, as do some other manufacturers but compared to the game cost it gets a bit much. So does anyone make penny sleeves in the mini size please?

I use these Mayday Games sleeves. Not the cheapest option, but one package covered all the mini cards plus left me with a few extras. I figured it's better than having to rebuy the core set if they eventually get too worn out.

Also note that the larger cards are not standard size, so the Mayday chimera sleeves would be a better fit (along with the minis posted by JohnGarrison1870) -

I know that Miniature Market also carries these sleeves, that's where I got my set for WHQ:TCG (though I used the Premium thickness on all).

Thank you very much. Hadnt found mayday minis when i googled. Awesome have ordered some.

Thanks to both of you, cheers!

Wow the chimera sleeves arrived (awaiting minis) and i just cannot belive how good they are for the price!!! They feel awesome.

My faves are ultra pro and yet mayday feels just as good.

Ffg for 50 = £2.50

Ultra fir 50 = £2.00

Mayday 50 = £1.50

Awesome!!!!!

Have to say that for the sake of consistency I used fantasy flight for everything. While I'm not such a ffg fanboy that I only ever use their stuff for everything - there's just something inside of me that won't let me use non-ffg sleeves for an ffg game - like it's just not official if I do.

FFG makes a quality sleeve but the inaccurate sizing drives me crazy. They tend to be too long so there's a lot left on top for the greys and greens. The yellows don't seem to have the issue though, last I checked they were about the same size as the Maydays.
