Finally got some pictures of the minis I've been painting.

The following minis were painted by my co-host on The Jodo Cast, Leo. Since he likes painting, and I needed some help.

Reeeeaaaally nice work! Those Tusken Raiders are great! I especially love IG-88 and the wookies but those Wampas! They are definitely my favorites!

FYI the nexu are based on our kitties.

The orange one has very subtle light stripes that don't really show up in the picture, but are there I promise.

I spend my Superb Owl sunday painting up my Rebel Troopers. I have my sabs, diala, luke, and han finished as well, but wanted to share these guys and hear what you thought.

I decided to remove the antennae from their helmets because I thought they looked silly, and weren't in the movies.

Then I figured I'd give them a different color scheme for fun.

Once I've gotten more figures done i'll post them here en mass like I did the first time.

Really like the Rebel Troopers!!

The colours look great!

I spend my Superb Owl sunday painting up my Rebel Troopers. I have my sabs, diala, luke, and han finished as well, but wanted to share these guys and hear what you thought.

I decided to remove the antennae from their helmets because I thought they looked silly, and weren't in the movies.

Then I figured I'd give them a different color scheme for fun.

Once I've gotten more figures done i'll post them here en mass like I did the first time.

The red shirts actually look really good! I wasn't really a fan of anything other than blue for them but I think that opinion might need to be updated!

Was it Evil sunz scarlet you used with a highlight of wild rider red? Just in case I steal your idea and try something similar.

The shirt color I used was:

1 part Celestra Grey, 1 Part Administratum Grey, 2 Parts Evil Sunz Scarlet.

For highlighting the shirt I just added more Administratum grey to the mix, and then some white to it I think.

Was excited to paint the Alliance Smuggler and wanted to share.

I'll be putting together a nice assembly of pictures like I did above soon for all my new paint jobs, but for now, here's a smuggler.

The alliance smuggler looks awesome!

The figure has a nice clean and smooth finish that looks great.And also like the shading!

I like the alternate color scheme for the Rebel troopers.

FYI the nexu are based on our kitties.

Same. My wife calls the Nexu Qiuqiu and Miao-Zedong like our 2 cats, and I plan to paint them up in similar colours. The Nexu just acts like a pissed-off kitty on the tabletop, it's hard to imagine they didn't have that in mind when designing the unit.

Do you find there is a need for more than one smuggler? Is that a skirmish thing, or do you just like to have an elite and regular copy of each expansion painted up?

I grabbed two because I thought the sculpt looked like it would be fun to paint, and maybe having two might work in Skirmish.
