A few questions...

King Robert's Warhammer has the Baratheon symbol. Does that mean only a Baratheon character can use this card? Can this item be used with another house character if used in a multi-house agenda?

Also, the card reads "kneel up to X total strength worth of characters". Do you add the strength totals of the characters or is it the number of characters (quantity) equal to the attackers strength?

2) The sum of the characters' Strength values.

1. There is no inherent or hidden rule that attachments can only go on characters with the same faction. The text of an attachment might create such a limit (like Lightbringer), but not its printed faction.
