Im new in the game since the last December. I m thinking about a team for the next tournament. Here just core game with wave 1 are allowed. I know that many players ll play Vador with RG and Troopers. And i would like to play rebel. That is the context. So my heart balance between these two teams :

What do you think is better vs Vador, Swarm Troopers With Kaine, etc. please? In the rebel faction, only with the core and wave 1, what do you think is possible to build a competitive team?

Dont put Diala in, she is one of the worst units out there. 7 points, for 7 hp, 1 figure, no rach, no damage from her.. And if you want to use cool stuff you have to throw away cards.

you could drop both regular sabs for leia and 3p0. Thats not just the core though

Yes well its not enought, i think/hope this list has a potential, but i need to play it now ...

I would like to use this deck with it:

Too many cards for Luke. When someone takes out Luke, then seemingly half of your deck is worthless. Remove Telekinetic Throw.

The eSabs have a built in Marksman, so you don't realy need that either.

Take more Cards that are good with the Sabs. E.g.: Explosive Weaponry or Slippery Target.

Take Rally.

Ok you right, and i made ab other mistake Meditation for Luke don't allow him an other attack action (range or Saber) in same activation, just a movement action so. I'm correct? Tx for advises!

Thank you DerBaer for this precision, indeed i thought that this new action from Meditation card allowed me an other attack. This card don't worth its points, more eaxctly there are better 2 points command cards

Indeed and for that i printed the cards just before the tournament.

My first thought after the tournament is that the rythm/timing and objectives in the tournament and my training games are too different:

- 50mn its short and in general each game not exceed 3 rounds: deployment are very important to take advantage fast

- objectives of mission are very important to score VP fast or at least to not let the opposant free VP.

Because im still a n00b, during the tournament i discover news missions which involves specifics strategies. I think about Cantina with VP on the table for each Command Cards or the Mission with thugs for example.

Thank you everyone for advices, i think next team will be different with constraints composition relax for the next tournament (twin shadows becoming available now).

Given the current tournament set up, an extra action isn't a bad thing.
