No limit. Pile 'em on! This is the tactic that makes control decks really robust.

As a strategy note: it's often better to just barely lock down a character and spread those tactics out more to lock down more characters instead of locking down 1 character for a long time. Especially with the existence of cards like Force Rejuvination.
