Can bone pipes be used to damage and kill a magic resistant epic monster?

Can bone pipes be used to damage and kill a magic resistant epic monster?

Yes. Resistance only applies to the bonuses to the test ("Gain +X"). All the other effects are unaffected.

That's what I thought, thank you for the clarification.

This is probably a stupid question, but every time the situation crops up I find myself wondering.

Let's say the hound of tindalos is sharing a space with an investigator, then a reckoning occurs. Does the hound of tindalos remain on that space and attack the investigator, or does it move to the nearest space containing an investigator, before attacking? The operative word here being move.

I've tended to simply have it stay and attack the investigator on its space, but I'd really like a second opinion here.

Mike,

I've had that situation happen once myself. I've always had it stay and attack, since the nearest investigator is on his space, I skip the move and go for its attack. Not sure if that right but it's what i did.

Happy gaming my friends.

Yes, you're doing the right thing.

You may want to read the "Nearest" entry in the Reference Guide.
