I'm still conflicted. Do I continue down the crazy path, or do I go more conventionally?
Armada World Cup - Vassal Tournament:
May the floss be with you Biggs.
We can schedule multiple games per week, correct?
We can schedule multiple games per week, correct?
I hope not.
The last time there was pod play the eager players (me) finished all their games quickly, then we sat around, waiting for the other pods, several of which did not deliver.
Welp, I waited too long: lists are now closed. (It's past 5:00 GMT)

You can have my spot. I got into work today to find out I'll be out of town for the next week.

I don't think that "being able to" means "having to." Being able to schedule multiple games per week allows for more flexibility in scheduling, and it looks like - now that I've read more closely- that's the idea since the description reads: everyone is expected to be able to schedule time to play everyone else in their pod within 3 weeks (averaging 1 game / week).

I'm in, I just was considering changing my list of almost pure buzzing.
Ok. I can live with that.
Prediction: some pods will be done quickly, others not so much.
End result: no sense of progression and the onset of indifference.
Doomed, we're doomed!

I'll be back in a bit, so hold off mashing F5 until like 3:00 EST to give me the time to make sure lists are legal and all that jazz.

Okay, everyone DOES have a list, so I'll be putting together the pods now. (Slight error checking things off left one player without a check - but they had a list)
Players who signed up for the relief should feel free to play one another as an additional pod, for fun!

I'm on the edge of my seat over here!!
I had an Imperial list I wanted to bring out of the woodwork, but I haven't had enough practice with it.
Going with something a little more familiar this time to see how things work out.

I'm glad you changed your list! I was afraid of the Rieekan dream crusher list!!! Personally I don't think that its all that viable for high MoV, but it definitely tends to lead to more close games.

Man, I've actually been loving playing it... Only problem is I haven't been able to take it up against a strong H-6 or Firespray list yet, which I know are its Achilles heel, so I didn't feel comfortable taking it to a tournament which is sure to feature both strongly.
