Fleet Ambush, First Player CaribbeanNinja

Fleet Ambush was huge in this game, with two ISDs and all squadrons lined up right next to each other. I alpha striked (struck?) Deadshane's squadrons and quickly killed his Vader and Dengar. Deadshane struck back hard against the squadrons, but was killed by my forward ISD and ram damage.

My squadrons took down his while I lost my Vader and Dengar. It became two ISDs vs one, and two of them killed each other on a final ram. That left his last Raider, which fled the battle.

This was a bloody game with dice rolled from the first activation.

GodofCheese vs Reath28 at 0830Z (GMT) tonight.

388 MOV 10-0 to Reath28. Game ended at the conclusion of Turn3 with GodofCheese conceding.

Cheese was able to get a couple of shots off with his potent bombers. My squadrons were able to tie down the rest. I got lucky at the beginning of T3 with Cheese just missing out on another double arc shot with his MC80. The ISD was then able to survive to take shots at the MC80 with the VSD resulting in the sinking of the Mighty Whale.

A good game and really great opponent. I look forward to playing him in RL during the Store Championships.

Edit: Forgot to mention, this is the first elimination round a friendly game, the result of which has no consequences for either player whatsoever.

Cutter9999 defeats Zanos: 311-212. I was first player. Objective was Contested Outpost.

This game was truly brutal with hordes of black dice flying from both sides. We also each had a fireball/Dengar/Vader fleet that mashed together for a bit.

I'd be happy to wait, but it's a matter of convenience for two players who are 15 hours apart. Our schedules line up this weekend, but there's no guarantee that we'll get such an opportunity in the following week (given what I've got on next week, it's highly unlikely).
