Hey so I've been listening to the Back To Dials podcast for quite some time now and have really enjoyed it.
Was wondering what other X-wing podcasts are worth listening to
I really like strategy and meta take

You will find the other podcasts:

There is a lot of really good listening here, but if you start at the beginning of some of these, they will be all excited about upcoming ships that have been out for a long time now. Just realize there is still good info here by some really great players. Enjoy!

Thank you for the kind words! ![]()
Such a great name for an Xwing podcast.
There's also Cloud City Radio.
You can find them on iTunes as well as on Soundcloud.

If you start to listen to them from the beginning you should know they had really bad microphones in the first two episodes. It gets much better from episode three.
Episode 12 is especially good!
Edited by VeldrinTo Echo what was said here...
I like ALL of them, and I listen to all of them. I am a bit biased to say that I like ours, but that is not to take away from the good work the other shows are doing.
must remember to add them to my favourites
Are any of them talking Heroes of the Aturi Cluster?
Mynock Squadron spoke about HotAC a bit on their last episode.
Also, the D6 Generation (not an xwing podcast) did a pretty detailed discussion a few weeks ago.
If I wasn't married with kids (who are old enough for activities) then I'd love to start a podcast about casual play X-wing. It wouldn't be about Worlds and the top lists and dismissing half the ships in the game. It would be about fun stuff my friends like to take or the Trench Run scenario or the last Epic game we did. That and probably the costs involved with getting one started.

I would like to do one also, but just don't know enough to do it by myself. I am married and have a kid (he is only 2)

I like it. Come join us for an episode of Ion Control. We've started to cover the miniature games in addition to our longer running LCG coverage. Doing them as separate casts.

I'm married and have two kids. One of my cohosts has 3. I've done 3 separate podcasts now. We've only just started to cover the miniature games on Ion Control and is it's own separate podcast under the Ion Control umbrella.

Cool. I haven't heard of your podcast. I will check it out.

(All Joking)
Not an excuse man! I am married, we have 4 kids, 5 if you count me. And I can do it every two weeks. And so can you

We started as a Star Wars LCG podcast so unless you played that too. We've only done one miniature episode so far and that was very much introductory. Right now on a bit of a hiatus with the time of the year and schedules.

Ok, let me know when you start back up.
I have a hard enough time getting to play one night a week. I don't think I'll be able to do a podcast.
Also, the cost of entry to podcast. I have zero budget for one. I don't even have a mic for my pc since I upgraded past Win 7 (no drivers). Did I mention zero cash for things like "hey, you can get mics cheap!"?

I've been ready for a bit but two of the hosts are pretty much LCG players more than anything. We'd like a few more who are more minis focused to balance things out. And give us a larger pool for scheduling etc. But this is also a hard time of year for stuff like this. Everyone is busy.

To be honest we started on very little to no budget. We use Skype to get everyone together, that's free, a free Skype recorder to record the show, Audacity to edit the show...also free. I started with a $2 mic, and you can get free hosting on several sites.
So all kidding aside, it just takes finding the time and putting the work in. The real trick, at least for me, it the editing process. For every hour of the show, there is two in editing. That is the big one. Just finding the time to listen to your own voice over and over again...

I paid nothing when I started with Table Flip, nothing for Adeptus Podcastus, Ion Control costs us a few bucks each a month(split 3 ways) for hosting on Podbean.
Hell you can beg or borrow a mic I am sure. Do you have an onboard mic ?
Desktop. No on board anything.
Well....I'll look into things. Probably after the holidays.

Neither do the NOVA squad guys. Their audio is always super rough.

Thanks for plugging them. I listened to the first 2 episodes then thought it died out for some reason. I'll have to catch up.
