Rules Questions

By LordPasty, in Warhammer Quest: The Adventure Card Game

Hello All,

A couple of rules questions here -

1) When a hero is defeated, where do the monsters go that were engaged with him/her?

2) If a hero performs the "Aid" action, would the bonus success then add to success from another hero performing the aid action to a third hero? I could see this being done to help a very injured hero on their "Rest" action.

Thanks.

1) The monsters head off into the shadows. Their ready/engaged status, damage, etc. don't change though.

2) A hero could receive aid from several other players and add those success tokens to the same action, such as their resting action. However, no action can have more than 2 success tokens on it. If the first and second heroes combined provided more than 2 aid to the third hero, that third player would have to put some of those success tokens on other actions instead. No matter how much aid others give him, a hero could not get more than 2 bonus healing points out of their rest action.

Hi, All,

Stubborn resolve means that you add 2 shield results to whatever you roll.

Refer to rules reference page 4. For any action, you roll white dice for your action card and black dice for the nnumber of readied enemies engaged. For each black die that comes up attack (looks like bacon), the enemies do damage to you based on the highest readied attack value to the lowest. If you roll a shield, those shields subtract 1 from the damage dealt. So on stubborn resolve, you start with +2 shields...or read another way...-2 damage automatically. This means the dwarf is less likely to take damage when resting.
