No offense to you as the OP but the 249 page Article Prediction thread has to be in consideration. Purely as the repository of all our misplaced excitement and hope. I've never been 100% confident using the term but I believe schadenfreude can be correctly applied to that thread.

To me, a dumb thread has to not accomplish anything meaningful, and regretfully, the Article Prefiction thread HAS at times done that. Actually accomplished discussion on article prediction.
