I'm calling my 2 MC 30s Super Kitakami and Raging Ooi and I'm picking up a 2nd copy of it later. Couldn't get it the other day since it won't fit into my bag.

I really can't take MC80 seriously. It's a flying sex toy. But someone calling it a sea cucumber gave me an idea for her repaint
MC80 is far too much like a squid for the 30 to take the title.
Besides, "Shrimp Cocktail" is far too great a list title to pass up.
And how can you take away an Imperial commander's chance to say "throw another shrimp on the bar-b" when he blows one up.
look at it its clearly modeled after a squid, its not a shrimp. who ever came up with that probably hadn't ever held the model. Lets do this people.
Squids have tentacles and those fins on the head. The shrimp has neither.

Eh...I'm still with the shrimp crowd. The tail of the ship just is too slanted to make a good "tentacle" area.
Plus, I don't relish the idea of flying backwards, with my butt facing the enemy. Just seems wrong.

pick up the model if you have one and look at the underbelly of the ship
not all squid species have fins at the top of the head as well, also usually they can fold in so that they aren't visible. Furthermore squid use a form of jet propulsion to move and usually don't move in the direction of their tentacles.
Shrimp. Bubba-Gump shrimp.

I don't think you need to draw tentacles on at all - the back third of the ship is the tentacles, ending in.... its shoes (it has one big shoe, which also acts as a focusing point for its jet propulsion).

your mixing them up with octopus. squid use that head fin to do most of their movement.
