A non-support Kyle Katarn build with Juke

IMHO HWK just don't cut the cake in a 100point game. (no matter how you build them)

but as a epic support ship they work great

As much as the Hawk is one of my favorite ships. I have to kinda agree with this. Seems to me like Juke Katan is on the expensive side for what your getting in a 100pt game. If I'm putting 31 points into a ship i want it to be able to output more damage then two a round under best case scenario's. Rebel's have a lot of offensive pilot options that are about 31 points mark.

There are some b-wings that might work better with the Jan/Juke combo for instance.

I've had success with Jan Ors + Predator + TLT + Numb + Moldy. She rarely misses with the TLT due to pseudo TL and usually having a Focus to spend. She can 4 straight to bug out of tricky situations and she also makes another ship really scary. She works well with Miranda who can use her ability and Jans to get 5 dice at range 1 with her primary. That said I have a hard time placing Kyle in a 100 point list. Juke + Jan is interesting on him, but it will only work on lower PS pilots. You'll likely want to spend that evade against higher PS shooting at you.

I want to try build with such Kyle.

Also Poe with Juke and Comm relay and Biggs with IA.

Oh, man I didn't even think of that. You could have a pair of T70s with Comm Relay and Juke, load them up with Jan, and then go onto the fight with Juke supporting 4 attacks and the 70s having an Evade in their back pocket for when they need it.

Considering in the terms of enabling Juke on Comm Relay equipped T70s, I'm not even sure I mind the higher PS pilots shooting at Kyle over the T70s. The T70s would

For 32 points you can get:

Red Squadron Veteran 26

Juke 2

Comm Relay 3

R2 Astromech 1

Integrated Astromech 0

Along with a 31 point Kyle, that leaves 6 points to upgrade one to Poe with BB8.

This is favoring IA or Autothrusters, so maybe that's a mistake. I do like the idea of 8 hit points on an X-wing, though. You can also feed Poe a Focus with Kyle on key turns, which is nice, even if you're giving up Juke on Kyle while you do it.

edit: Just saw WWHSD's post. I guess this list has a tendency to be overlooked :).
